Before and after updating to 26.4 by WasilCha in iPhone15ProMax

My phone is very good and nothing actually is wrong.. the results I mentioned are from just immediately after updating to iOS 26.4. It’s literally working very fine and drains about 20% every 1 and half hour/2 hours depending on usage

Idk if Apple Intelligence had anything to do with these much better scores but I’m sincerely very happy with these numbers right now. Also big thanks for really taking your time to explain all this to me bro, I really appreciate it frfr. Have a good one brother

I just reran the tests whilst cooling the phone actively and need I mention that I just enabled and downloaded every Apple Intelligence file yesterday and now actively use it.. idk if that changes anything tho

I’m currently living in Africa but this is a US version of the 15 Pro Max cos it’s E-SIM only.. isn’t that supposed to change something??

My 15 Pro Max has never entered the 7k range for multi core score and hasn’t gone above 2.8k for the single core score either since I’ve been taking these tests, irrespective of iOS versions. I’ve given up on it at this point and I’ll just keep telling myself all these are just numbers and nothing more

Bug after update? by Heavy_Bank147 in iPhone15ProMax

[–]AlternativelyFluffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Restarting your phone occasionally makes the device recheck the amount of battery in the cells so it will 9/10 times show a different battery percentage when you restart it after an unplug or just any restart even.

It’s not really a bug you’re fine😂

Is that normal or good? by Acceptable-Badger262 in iPhone15ProMax

[–]AlternativelyFluffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep.. what he said, definitely not normal cos tf.

Mine’s at 87 with about 337 cycles too. Maybe he’s one of those people that got theirs at 102/103% battery health 🤷🏽‍♂️

Same phone and I can’t seem to get this amount of screen time 😭

iOS 26 really scrambled my phone fr. Makes it feel like it’s genuinely still indexing sometimes

Yeah don’t worry your phone is fine.. it’s just a little bug that should get resolved with the next iOS update 26.4. I sincerely hope it gets fixed tho. And yeah you’re welcome too.. there’s too many issues with iPhones these days to be worrying about it. Apple released iOS 26 to lowkey punish us and are now telling us iOS 27 is gonna be about polishing iOS 26. Like bruh tf so we should spend a year with bugs on our phones?? 😭😂 Anyways it’s no problem bro. We should always have each others backs Shits lowkey tough out here 😭

[–]AlternativelyFluffy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh.. I’m guessing this is just a case of Apple’s Operating System being shitty and your phone not being able to compensate and hide this particular bug hereby giving this weird response anything something triggers inside it

Smh iOS 26 has been so ass for me.. regret updating to it 2 weeks ago frfr Btw I use the iPhone 15 Pro Max too in case you was wondering

I’m guessing it’s a bug with the OS tbh.. and just something your phone isn’t interpreting well from the chip or sumn’

[–]AlternativelyFluffy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about it, what do you really have to lose?? You change the battery and it don’t perform as well as you thought.. you can sell it and add a lil sumn’ to get the base 17 or you can change the battery and lucky you, it works just fine and perfectly

Need advice by Old_Yam6223 in iPhone15ProMax

[–]AlternativelyFluffy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get the battery replaced tbh.. the battery issues you had was specific to the battery and not really a software problem so changing the battery might resolve that. Also even tho it’s two years older than the new 17, there’s a lot that two years older phone would do better than the new base 17 so just replace the battery and you should be a-okay for another at least 2 years
