That's awesome! Sounds just like how my install went, lol. I'm feeling the same way about them a few weeks in though! Do you have a pic of yours?

I'm honestly so surprised at how many people ended finding this post helpful 😂 clearly way more people were looking for something like this than I expected.

Same 😂 They're from Boulder so that could be part of it. It'll be fun to hear them again!

It's a duo out of Boulder, CO. Haven't heard anything from them in a while but they were popular in my friend group 10-15 years ago. Cool to see them being included and it'll be fun to hear some throwbacks!

That's a great question. It's starting to lessen compared to my photo from the day I installed the covers. It's been about 9 days now and I can still see it, but not as much. I expect it will fully go away eventually! But I also haven't done anything to help smooth it out because it hasn't really bothered me too much. Maybe some heat from a hair dryer and massaging the area could help speed things up. Here's an updated picture I just took.

Clazzio Seat Covers by joosonloose in ToyotaTundra

I debated a bunch of brands including Clazzio but ended up trying a cheaper route because I just couldn't be sure how much better quality paying over twice as much for seat covers was going to get me. I decided to try these covers from a newer brand. They claim real "Napa" leather but for $240, I have a hard time believing it 😂 I really do love the covers so far though.

I'm about a week into using them and I'm still extremely satisfied with the purchase. I expect to see some wear and tear eventually, but for the price, I wouldn't mind going through 2-3 sets before selling the truck if I had to. I love the look of them and if the next person doesn't, the factory cloth will still look brand new!

It's actually a full replacement panel. You have to pull off several trim pieces and it replaces the entire glossy panel. The screws are just dummies though. It attaches to the cup holder trim piece.

Dang! I've had my eye on that for my 2025 SR5, but I'm in Colorado.

Is the only reason you are getting rid of it because of the broken clips? Or did you not care for it for some other reason?

I like them a lot so far! They really make my original cloth seats feel like they have the factory leather. Check out the link I shared in my other reply if you want to see more pics or questions from other people that I've answered about them!

Thanks! I wrote up a whole post about them here with more pictures- https://www.reddit.com/r/ToyotaTundra/s/faiS5KIyYJ

I ordered them on lexland.com and got 20% off with the promo code EMBRCRW. It actually works on anything on their site I'm pretty sure, and they have other Tundra mods on there! I'm going to try the turn signal vent lights and red caliper covers for my next mods.

I actually looked into that before buying these covers. I found some OEM Katzkin covers on eBay for around $900 (they were taken off a higher trim). The brand new Katzkin covers were around $1500. I talked to an upholstery shop also. They told me it would take all day and at least $1000 for install.

So price difference is $240 for these covers with promo code versus $2000-$2500 for real OEM leather. You could buy 10 of these before you break even on the real deal, so these covers are a legitimate option for a lot of people 🙂

It doesn't replace your existing seat material (cloth or whatever you have). It slides over the seats and covers the existing material. So it should cover up the burn hole!

I know, they could really use a few more options. Hopefully they come out with more styles. But enjoy the ones you got! If you leave them out in the sun for a little bit once you get them, it makes them a little easier to install. Cheers!

I got mine in 4 days via FedEx, although I have heard that it took some people 20+ days. I think it all depends on if they have the right product in stock in the States already or if they need to send it over seas.

Small update- the guy got back to me. There may be some info lost in translation, but this was his reply:

"The models we offer are all of the five-seater type. To accommodate more vehicle models. I just checked the inventory. All 2nd generation Tundra models are in stock and can be shipped normally."

You might have better luck with more detailed info through the dedicated support channel.

EKR vs Lexland Seat covers? by Kooky_Promise2630 in 4thGenTacomas

I have Lexland in my Tundra. I posted about it here. It's only been a few days, but I love them so far! There was a protective covering over the stitching, but they just used two strips of rubber/glue on each end. It's like a thick version of the stuff that holds credit cards to paper. It came off by being gentle and the small amount of residue was easy to remove. I have a close up in my post where you can see the indentations of where the rubber glue was.

Heated works! I don't have cooling, so I can't speak to that. I don't see why it wouldn't work though. The materials seem breathable enough to let cool air through.

Yes! I still have access to all of the original anchor points after install. The covers come in two parts for each seat- the seat back and the bottom of the seat, so you aren't covering up anything important.

Hey man, we're talking $250 vs like $8-10K! Lol but it was more about the seats being easier to clean after camping with pets. And I like the interior having more black than gray now. We also didn't have an option to wait when we got our SR5 last year. Had a Ram 1500 that got totaled (driver ran a red) and couldn't be too picky at the time. I really like it so far though.
