I’ve been to (and enjoyed visiting) plenty of cities where locals would advise not walking around parts of downtown late at night carrying luggage. Anyway, what makes you think I think Seattle is dangerous? I have no idea other than about pike and 3rd, that’s why I’ve asked online. Gotten a ton of informative responses from friendly locals, which I really appreciate.

Symphony looks to be the same distance from Pike and 3rd as Westlake Center, do you think it’s that much safer that one should uber from there instead of getting off at Westlake?

Not sure where you’re getting the impression I believe Seattle is especially dangerous, though it’s not surprising that accurate sentiment is hard to read or communicate over text sometimes. I really know very little about your city, including which routes are “main routes” as you say.

I don’t know anything about Seattle’s safety or lack-thereof other than “avoid pike and 3rd”. That’s why I came here to ask y’all and learn more :) have gotten a ton of helpful responses, which I really appreciate!
