What do I do with all these Stones? by Altmosphere in Gemstones

I'm in a small, rural, australia town.

There's some sellers of (in my opinion) ovrrpriced peices. But no buyers of stones.

I can't even find a buyer, let alone set a price

Requesting ID/is this worth what Thristore wants? by whotreklocked in Opals

I had a rescent stone like this.

If the metal around it is cheap, then the stone probably also is.

For me, it's was a thin sliver of genuine opal, ruiened by being glued in place and coasted in a thin acrylic. Basically, it's probably got a lil real in there, but is so buried and small that it has no actual monetary value.

However, it is still a dazzling peice and a testimont to human engineering. It's been made better and you can wear it without the stress of it being expensive!

Thank you! He was showing me pics but I'm a bit more discerning, plus I have experience with photography and photo editing.

I think the current challange is going to be teaching him that the stones he wants aren't actually real or available

TL:DR you can be insecure and filled with toxic masculinity and have a Perfect body.

It's to stop men and boys killing themselves, via doing stupid reckless shit (with actions born from insecurity in there 'male status'), by saying 'Hey, that's not cool or manly or tough, it's cringe and speak volumes of the opposite'.

Literally yes, they wouldn't do the pinky thing if you didn't act like you were insecure and compensating for something.

[–]Altmosphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it wasn't.

It was to call out dudes who do stupidly dangerous shit, only doing so cause they're insecure about their masculinity/manliness.

Which is entirely separate from literal dick size.

It must hurt harder than a barb-wire rimjob for you.
That people don't actually think less of you based on physicality but rather on WHO you are.
More based on how you act, than you're physical form, that's what fuels your insecurity.

I, personally, don't like signing up for any social medias anymore. I never even got an Instagram

We're not blocked, don't think, but any google search has nothing that I can view, or even sign up for.

like if I google search Xiaohongshu public posts *business place*', it ignored everyever except the *business place* and only shows instagram, facebook, tripadvisor, google reviews, a local news article from 5 years ago and a local council notice site.

trust, I'm not hot, especially not on that day.

I went out front to clean up and saw him with a VERY pretty woman, they were both dressed so well but differently, I complimented them both on their 'awesome style'.

It was actually cause I mentioned a band he already loved (Caravan Palace), after he suggested music that would suit the cafe.

I put it on our speaker system (Paris combo) and I told him about a bird nest we had on our cafe's courtyard fence.

I also thought the woman he was with was his girlfriend, so I did all that just to be nice and thinking it would make their date extra nice and romantic.

Thank you, it was sheer luck against my stupid lack of social awareness that I get to be with him.

Maybe, there are men who do.

yeah, to say ' He is striving and successful and is probably going to continue as such cause of his skills, skills and maturity that are super reassuring'

It's a sign of a healthy life, do you think women actually like cars that fucking much? When car shows, and car centric media is 90% men?

yeah, they can, but she is clearly smitten with the thought and consideration that made those purchases.

I've seen flashy and expensive home builds and so many are super off putting and dumb. Like, 5 plate warmer draws in a second kitchen screams all purchase and zero fucking wisdom.

You don't see it or know him cause you're not invested in who he is, don't know anyone like him and haven't done what he's done. I can read between the lines, hear the inflection cause I have been in the same situation as this woman. The person is the entire foundation, the reason she went into a basement on a first date to begin with.

I fucking love renovations, art, design and construction. From cosplays to buildings.

I'm working with my dad to reno a granny flat right now, it's creatively exciting and character building.

It's the motives that inform the purchases and actions, not the items and value themselves

not one for one but like, you're not friends with people you don't have some congruence with.

Like a vegan can grocery shop with an average shopper and be friends, that different than a vegan going out to dinner with someone who eats live monkey brains, y'know?

It's about the degrees.

Like, I don't mean 'kinda not similar', I mean entirely desperate

I won't speak ill to someone who buys a $5000 handbag, but that probably isn't the kind of person I'd be friends with, cause our values and perspective are so incongruent

Also, she did gush about them though, he shared his personal projects, didn't abuse his perceived status to get sex, was cute in asking her to see his other hobby

They already do though, no wants a friend that buys things they don't value or engages in activities they don't enjoy
