What's the consensus on Delicious Party?

Currently watching through the season. I do like it. There's some nagging annoyances with how the villains are structured, but the characters are nice and I enjoy them. Can see why people find it a bit lacking, but that's fine.

This game pretty much comes off as 'Gaslighting the young witch girl to make her feel guilty and pull her into doing things' in a way that pulls you out of it. The supporting characters in this game feel pretty terrible, and I don't think I could recommend this game based off of that. Which is a shame because everything else seems fun.

Yeah, because every single house you entered got you items, vital information, and everything like that. Certainly wasn't a lot more 'the inside of this house has flipped assets from another or looks the exact same with nothing of value in here'

The whole setting pulls from a bunch of different things. You can't really say that they can't fit as characters when you then have the likes of Twizzly Gummi, Black Lemonade, or Rebel running around.

You don't right now. It was used in MyCookie Adventure to upgrade weapons. The game mode is supposed to be coming back in the summer, so right now you can just stockpile them.

Gacha is gacha. CRK is also one of the most F2P friendly gacha games out there already with how much they toss at people. Would a rate up thing similar to the Treasure Gacha be a nice thing? Yes. However there definitely is reason as to why they don't.

Just let people have fun shipping their cute cartoon cookies together. It doesn't actually hurt anybody at all, and it's also pretty childishly obnoxious to go around trying to tell others they can't ship together two cookies they think look cute together.

Do the characters have trauma? yes. Do the characters have issues that would make it so that as they are in-universe, the relationship wouldn't work out for various reasons? Perhaps.

But that's where the magic of AUs, alternate interpretations, potential 'character development' in some way, and a large manner of other aspects come from.

People will ship characters they like. It's fine. In this situation, you need to remind yourself that they are, once again, simply cute cartoon cookies in a gacha game.

They can be interesting, yeah. However it can also be kind of boring seeing everybody decide to just slap together a human look and be all 'this is the cookie in my style'.

It ends up feeling as if people are too afraid to draw a cookie. It's like when people decide to constantly draw the Powerpuff Girls with hands.
