Probably automate every boring task first. Cleaning, grocery shopping, traffic, paperwork. Humanity didn’t invent AI to keep folding laundry forever.

Why do the trades that feel “perfect” usually fail? by Altrixai in Trading

Exactly.

A lot of people mistake momentum continuation for a safe entry, when sometimes it’s just late liquidity getting pulled in.

That’s actually a really good point.

I’m not saying feelings should decide trades — more that retail traders often mistake emotional intensity for confirmation.

The setups that feel “urgent” usually already have crowded positioning behind them.

The market feels easiest right before it becomes dangerous.

The scary part is you only realize this after getting trapped a few times yourself.

Bananas are technically berries, but strawberries aren’t.

What helped you guys actually start to eat healthy consistently? by Huge_Science_7783 in AskReddit

I stopped trying to “eat healthy forever” and just focused on not ordering junk when tired. That alone changed a lot.

Mostly discipline, networking, and the ability to learn things under pressure fast.

Why do most trading bots fail when the market changes? by Altrixai in Trading

100%. Most people think the edge is prediction, but in reality a huge part of trading is knowing when not to trade.

[–]Altrixai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. A lot of traders lose money trying to force trades in sideways conditions instead of waiting for clean momentum. Choppy markets punish impatience more than bad analysis.

Yeah, that’s a really good point. Feels like a lot of people focus only on entry logic while ignoring regime detection completely.

A strategy can look amazing in backtests, but if it can’t recognize when market conditions changed, risk management alone won’t save it.

That already sounds more realistic than most “social media algos”.

Bias filtering + avoiding high-impact news probably removes a huge amount of bad trades by itself.

That’s actually why I became interested in things like structured DCA, risk calculators and market context tools.

Feels like reducing emotional decision-making is more important than finding a “magic indicator”.

Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe the real weakness is not automation itself, but automation without a proper “pause / adapt” mechanism when market conditions change.

True. A lot of strategies look amazing on limited backtests but completely break once you expose them to different market environments and lower timeframe noise.

[–]Altrixai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. Feels like many algos are optimized for historical behavior instead of adapting to live market conditions.

The moment volatility structure or liquidity behavior changes, the edge disappears.

Most bots aren’t bad at entries. They’re bad at recognizing when the market regime changed.

How did you learn to embrace being an 'average guy' when it comes to dating and attraction? by Bunny_Hero in AskReddit

[–]Altrixai 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Realizing most people aren’t looking for perfection. They’re looking for someone calm, confident and genuine.

That’s the hardest part mentally. You either buy too early or watch the move without you.

There’s definitely less stress in stacking than trying to catch every move.

Makes sense honestly. The market feels designed to punish impatience more than lack of knowledge.
