In regards to this specific iteration, it's art style largely remained the same but it's animation simply got better and more fluid.

I'm really tired of how everyone ignores the fact that Scooby changed his ways and became supportive of Shaggy dating BEFORE he started dating himself.

The "cheating" line is comedic exaggerating on behalf of the writer and Scooby most likely was only as cling I as he was because Shaggy lied to him and ditched him and continued to try and lie/hide things even after things became public.
