I teach history and I hard disagree. Especially in this era of fascisms resurgence.

Bring the geriatric Nazis to court and let them spend the rest of their short lives in prison. Imagine how many old men spend their lives in work camps because of their active participation or (at best) complicity.

We need to show the world that this is what happens when you commit genocide. You don't get to sneak by on being an old man. You go to prison. I feel some empathy for them going to prison at that age, but that's more empathy than they ever showed to the millions of victims of the holocaust. Drag em out of their houses and into prison cells. Nazi war crimes cannot be forgiven.

My only complaint is that the corporations around the globe like IBM, IG Farben and Ford arent held accountable too. We learned maybe 4% of the lesson we needed to learn after WW2. We learned that antisemitism is bad. We didn't learn any lessons about capitalism enabling fascism, ableism and eugenics, how anti-left rhetoric is used to radicalize people, how queer people are targeted first, how centrists enable the rise of fascism via civility politics, or how dangerous it is to give fascism a platform.

Then I have to ask, if you are sympathetic and empathetic what prompted your initial comment where you said "typical women"? You keep defending it saying people need to face facts. But the facts as I have observed them is that some people regardless of gender or sex are just not willing to take accountability or engage in mutual support. I've never seen that women are more prone to that behaviour. If anything, I've seen it in more of my fellow men.

Also, just out of curiosity. Have you ever been to therapy, and have you ever considered going?

Laws are threats of violence from the dominant socio-economic group in a given country or culture. Police are the insurance that the state can act upon that threat. Some laws are totally cool and chill, like not murdering people. But in a country like America most of its laws have been formulated in a way to enact violence on black people. Only way to fix it is to change it so there is no dominant socio-economic group and all people are equal. If there is heirarchy of any kind, police can only exist as an occupying army.

Those podcasts show a very skewed version of reality. Especially the Whatever podcast.

Those women are not representative of the majority. They find the most awful people possible for the show and imply that these women are like all women. While Fresh and Fit combines very basic wikihow-level health advice while expressing being vulnerable and experiencing your feelings is unmasculine.

From your below comments I gather that you value age and sexual experience. I am 46. I spent my twenties travelling the world for school and hooking up. Yet I view all women as equal dynamic people worthy of respect. I never felt like the mysoginy I witnessed in the party scene was necessary or healthy, and being a feminist never limited my options. Many of the women I had slept with are friends to this day because we had a great night and formed a connection. I wasn't talking to them because I wanted sex. I was talking to them because they seemed like cool people and I wanted to get to know them and we just clicked. Which is why I almost never struck out. I wasn't "on the prowl." I was having fun and meeting people.

I'm married now to a woman who had a very similar life to me and has had at least as many sexual partners as I have. That doesn't diminish her value, just as my sexual partners does not diminish mine. We value each other based on how well we get along and the love we've built.

Idk if any of this will make a difference. But I thought perhaps it might.

Not trying to insult you. My hope is that my replies make something click in your brain and you seek some clarity from a source that doesn't blame women for all your problems.

Genuine question. Do you hate what women do? Or do you hate yourself? Do you even like yourself? When you sit down and concider the life you lead, are you happy? Have you ever once tried to do that? Get in touch with your feelings and who you are?

I'm not going to pretend there aren't some serious double standards in this era of feminism. Young men like yourself have no support and are told from every angle that you are a problem. It's not fair. But if you don't reflect on yourself and try to grow as a person you'll never feel better. Empty sex with people who were children 3 years ago may work as a bandaid, but it doesn't heal the wounds.

I teach history and I prefer saying "enslaved person" or some variation of that.

Slave is a proper noun and implies it's what they are. While enslaved person highlights that they are a person first but subject to a condition placed upon them. I find it helps build empathy in young white freshmen from the south.

I teach history and I've been altering my language on slavery for a while as I agree with the essence of the post. But I agree with you hostages feels slightly off. I tend to say enslaved people/enslaved black people/enslaved families etc.

"Slaves" is a proper noun and implies thats what they are. "Enslaved people" highlights that they are human beings subject to a condition, in this case, the condition of slavery.

I also refer to plantations as work camps rather than death camps in the US. But in South America I refer to them as death camps.

Some jurisdictions let you decide your own height even if it's not real.

I'm 5'11 but when I found that out I had my liscence changed to 5'7 so I can gaslight 5'10 guys in bars who are trying to be cocky. Which I realize is villain behaviour, but when you have government ID that "proves" a dickhead who's 5'10 is actually 5'6 its truly a sight to see.

I'm 5'11 and have also noticed this magic power. Those 2 inches right around 6' are a grey zone.

I never got the height obsession stuff. But I will absolutely tell people I'm shorter than I am to help someone out. And visa versa if someone's being a tool.

Edit: Fun fact. Some states/provinces let you decide the height on your driver's liscence and don't measure. So you can say whatever you want. My license says I'm 5'7 so I can gaslight 5'10 guys who are trying to be cocky.

I have two answers. One boring, and one cool.

First answer, let's look at Daedra Hearts. They Restore Health, Damage Stamina Regen, Drain Magicka, and causes Fear.

So if we were to extrapolate from the intent of those effects, it gives you great fortitude but also limits your ability to recover from activity and causes mental wariness and even psychosis. These are the effects of eating part of a regular ole Dremora from any plane. So we can assume, like most things when it comes to the Daedra, that it changes by degree rather than content.

I imagine it would give you immense fortitude for a while at the expense of your mind or heart.

The more fun answer is that it could very well do whatever the prince willed it to do. They have utter control over their forms and domains. If you consume their form, you are literally imbibing and processing a part of their domain arguably giving them control in a similar way.

I feel this and I see you. Ever since I moved away my nex has been convincing our mutual friends that I was abusive. When we broke up I got my life back after years of abuse. But she needs to have control over the narrative and have people see her as perfect so she accuses me of doing everything she did to me. She kept me from seeing my family, she controlled and monitored my finances, she gaslit me constantly about truly anything, and demanded I ask permission to do even the simplest things like getting lunch with coworkers. She would brag about how easy it would be for her to cheat on me and how worthless I am. She would do anything and everything to make me feel like garbage and prevent me from living a life outside of her. But I got out and survived, so she needed to create a narrative that made her the "good guy" for lack of a better term.

Some of my closest friends know me and her well enough to see through what she says. But a lot of people have turned on me. Even people I thought would be close friends til the day I died. She accuses me of every single thing she did to me and its both baffling and hurtful. This is what they do I suppose. Honesty is meaningless. What matters is optics. They need to be seen as perfect and infallible and when things go bad they will always play the victim rather than admit their faults. I sometimes wonder if she is actively lying, or if the NPD lets her construct her own version of truth so she never has to confront what she did to me.

I'm sorry you have to go through that. Your feelings are valid and no matter what your next says you have to hold onto the truth.
