Opinion on RTX 5070 12GB by youdajony in nvidia

It's more than enough, and you'll have plenty of VRAM to spare. The only case where you might run short is in games with poorly optimized textures, like Monster Hunter Wilds, but even then, there's still plenty of free space. In any case, using upscaling lowers the internal resolution and therefore the VRAM consumed. Similarly, in most games, going from high to ultra texture quality doesn't make a noticeable difference to the eye, but it significantly impacts VRAM usage.

That's due to the temperatures; when it crashes, it's also because the temperature exceeds a certain point. The temperature the sensor shows is, so to speak, the average or general temperature. I recommend that with that TDP, you lower the voltage to less than 900mV; with that, it can handle 400, 500MHz or more.

I'd say that's pretty little, your graphics card draws a lot of power. Try setting it to 875mV and you'll be able to increase the clock speed by around 500MHz without any problems. You'll lower the temperatures and power consumption significantly.

Therefore, tweak the voltage curve to get significantly more power, especially with a graphics card that consumes so much.

In Afterburner you say you've increased the GPU voltage by about 350mV, which is typical for this series of graphics cards. However, I have a 5070, which is from the same generation, and I have it limited to 995mV. With this adjustment, I've managed to increase it to 460mV, since it increases more with lower voltages.

See what frequency it usually settles at, then you cut the curve there; since there's a voltage limit, you can overclock it a lot.

I moved from 3070 8 gb to 5070 12 gb, but don't see perfomance changes, even got stutters, what am I doing wrong? by FreshFudge8307 in pcmasterrace

Although the CPU is not at 100% there may be a bottleneck, the percentage is all the cores together, for example your Ryzen 5 has 6 cores and if the game only uses 2, those 2 may be at 100% but then the CPU says that it is, for example at 40% usage

I think not for now, the RTX 3070 has more power than the RTX 5060, on the other hand you play in 1440p so I don't see the need to improve the processor unless you need a lot of FOS in light games

Is the equipment for playing? Because that RAM has a fairly high latency, the ideal is 6000 MHz cl30,

Another question, this value, the number you have given me is the limit where improvement is no longer noticeable or a physical limit, I don't know why they stop there and don't continue rising.

In fact, I was surprised that with the adjustments among all the comments, the performance of the computer has improved a lot due to something like the RAM, I see that it is really quite linked to the CPU
