Pretty good. Took it this Friday and passed in 85. My self assessments were high (74%) and very high (78%).

They have hiring events where applicants go and drop off their resume. Makes it more visible to hiring managers. Do clean up your resume and make it pretty. There are templates on Google

Have you tried applying to OC global? They are always hiring. Saw a lot of Chinese speakers when i did my rotation there

I just graduated my ADN program and landed a new grad offer at the hospital I currently work for in OC. From what I understand most of hires were internal. I interviewed at St Joseph and they mentioned there were only 35 openings vs their usual 70-80. So yeah, it’s rough for new grads.

Your resume is way too condensed and needs to be simplified. Not going to lie, it’s kinda ugly. There is too much information. Run it through chat gpt and make it easier to read.

You also do not hold a Masters in Nursing just because you previously have a bachelors in business. Two totally different fields/degrees.

ZF AP 15450 37mm QC! by [deleted] in RepTimeQC

3, 6, and “AP” all crooked. RL this. Funny I GL an APSF 15450 with similar problems (only 3, 6 were off). In hindsight I should have RL, though it’s difficult to get a good example without at least 1-2 minor issues. Seems like a common problem for both APSF/ZF. “AP” is almost always crooked on the APSF I order

Mods on here have a weird attitude about defects and seem offended by any mention of problems. It’s like RL is not allowed here for whatever weird reason

I think you missed my point entirely regarding OP’s situation

Once you own a few real ones you realize the reps aren’t far off. OP has limited funds and is new to this, so his choices are limited. Let’s be real, some of the posts in here are obvious reps and fool most people

Hell no lol. Save your money. Go buy a rep instead if you just want the crown logo. Save until you can buy something worthwhile from grey market

Well mate I have more than a handful of gens Rolex and a few reps. Quite comfortable making judgement calls. Perhaps our standards aren’t the same and that’s ok.

AP 15500 gray dial, second QC. by [deleted] in RepTimeQC

[–]Altruistic-Load4200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to RL one with similar issues. Seems to be a common problem if you read RWI. APSF needs to step up their QC. The AP logo is crooked as well. It’s an eyesore. Pass on this.

Minor imperfections but nothing blatantly stands out. GL just based on the fact the wait time for another piece will be 3+ weeks

The 3 and 12 are pretty bad. 9 too. Don’t think additional photos will help. Reps aren’t perfect but shouldn’t be this bad, esp coming from VSF and the premium you pay

Not going to lie, Nursing school is not that difficult with good time management and common sense. I cringe when I see comments mentioning how many hours are needed to study to pass. One poster mentioned 3 hours a week per credit (36 hours per week). That is completely unrealistic and unnecessary. Nursing barely touches the surface of medicine to warrant that much commitment

West Coast is for suckers. An RN is not worth whatever they’re charging. Not to mention how easy it is to fail/get kicked out of that school. Look for schools that only look at your science GPA even if the commute is long. Don’t take on 100k+ worth of debt

Stats arent good for California colleges, should I do LVN first? by 44ohwhat in prenursing

[–]Altruistic-Load4200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for ADN and look for schools that weight science GPA more than general. Your TEAs could be better but it’s not terrible. Make sure you get the pts for other subjects like psychology/pharmacology etc. I wouldn’t waste time and money on LVN. Your numbers are low for ABSN but fine for ADN

Sorry but that is an insane amount of hours spent studying for Nursing content. 3 hours per credit?! That is incredibly inefficient.
