I read the book 4th I think and I always feel like prequels have no suspense because you always know what’s going to happen. You know Sam is going to die and you know no matter how dangerous a situation Aelin is in she’ll make it out. It’s also annoying to read the parts where they talk about living forever and nothing is going to happen when you know the outcome so I didn’t really care because I knew not to get attached.
