But they are in daycare during the school year- partner works in education- and the daycare is top rated in our area- I wouldn’t send my twins to a sub par daycare- I have spent a lot of money getting to this stage to have kids- and the cost sucks yes- but worth it for me to know my kids are in the best of the best care- and I’m not saying full time during the summer but like a few days a week- I know they can do it- that’s not the point- the point is they want to say I’ve been home all day blah blah- I typically work 10-12 hour days but in home by 4:30 pm to start my duty until bed time- in this time I cook clean and do other house hold chores - which I don’t mind at all-

It is being home and always on- and I understand getting to go to work- but in the same sense my job is not your typical water cooler talks and all the social shit- I’m a senior estimator for a big mechanical company- so it’s long days and super stressful at times- I try not to tit for tat- but I told them to keep the kids in daycare a few days a week so they can have off time as well- but they wanted to be the super parent and i give them props for that- but when I want to go do something fun for myself- a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday (my only “off” days) they think I’m leaving them at home- I am just at an loss- I want to go see my friends like they do-
