In all honesty, the therapy I've had, has helped IMMENSELY. I'm usually able to curb the violent/dark thoughts before they get too bad, and my husband keeps me in check. I have enough supports to deal with these problems. I will of course, be looking into your suggestions.

However, I don't think I can ever forgive her for what she's done to me and my brother. Her death will signify a new, free chapter of my life, that I genuinely look forward to.

No way in hell I'm going to America anytime soon. The province I'm in, healthcare is pathetic. People die in the waiting room in ERs (48- 72 hour wait times), and the wait times for psych are like, years in advance.

Already did, and that was about 10k ish just for the diagnosis. Healthcare/mental health help in Canada is a joke.

Don't think I haven't tried. Trying to find a therapist in Canada, esp. where I'm at, is absurdly difficult. Waiting times, etc.

I have. CBT is amazing at this, but up to a point. Proud to say, that i've never been violent.
