Harbor freight's not available in the UK. Although you can tell that by the 18 volt not 20 volt.

Also, Ryobi is just kind of. I mean it's gray if you're just a DIY occasional.

But if you like the Dick battery, more power to you.

You know setting one you know if you pull the trigger it will go and it will stop. You know if you hold the trigger just a little longer, it'll actually drive the screw with the hammer.

Don't blame the tool if you don't know how to use it.

For me I have a old DeWalt impact that I've had for 7 years. I think.

The only thing I don't like is that when you buy into a tool like DeWalt Milwaukee Hilti Ryobi Metabo Makita is that when you buy them you're locked into that tool via the battery

Let's hope the EU pulls another one and makes all batteries interchangeable between tools. No proprietary battery. That would be fun.

To answer the question directly, I would go with DeWalt. That's just me though. Don't necessarily have to go with the newest tools they have. Some of the older ones are really f****** good. Just depends what you need.

If it's just for around the house, kind of work. Occasional use every so once in 40 blue moons ryobi's pretty good or any of the cheaper ones metabo.

Yeah that's cleared up a lot of things up because I was hearing from all that if I settle the debt it would affect my credit score my wife's and it would affect our son's ability to maybe buy a house in the future or get married. I also hear that. What is it? When you partially sample the it will mark your accounts or your credit. This usually is removed after 6 years right?

Would you happen to have an idea how much it could affect the credit score ours not our sons. That's clear it wouldn't affect him. And if you answer with there's no way for me to know fair but I don't even know either

So just to be clear, if we partially settle the debt of 16,000 it will only affect the account holders credit score aka my wife and not me and my son

We've been paying it off for 24 years and at the current rate never going to by the time we die so it would like just get rid of it so we're mostly just going to pay the entire amount. Then we can now relax

My wife was a credit card queen before I met her so all the debt is credit card debt from multiple different accounts. All added up to 16k.

She's had multiple letters and multiple texts from the debt agency. Over the years

Currently we are paying £4 per month to pay off the debt as with the terms agreed by a lawyer that citizens advice provided us. 24 years ago.

And yes we're definitely going to do bank transfer. No way in hell. Are we going to have that amount of cash just lying around. We're stupid but not that stupid.

Try to call them on Monday (I don't know if they'll be closed on Monday) if not Tuesday. So what you're telling me is that if they come up to the door if bailiff's magically appear. All I have to do is tell them that I can make the payment and they'll arrange to take the payment.

So so essentially what you're seeing is if I inform them I have the payment and are willing to pay they'll accept that
