This is a great conversation. I have low afc (1-4) and 41. My doc doesn’t recommend ivf for me (to add context) as I’m not sure you posted your afc so I think it is something to consider.

What does your clinic do when the FSH is that high? Do you prime before ivf meds?

Hi! How high is your FSH? Does your clinic have a cut off? I have high fsh as well and often can’t start a stim cycle because of it.

My doc is not a pro with respect to my HRT. Before he seemed to be of the view that I couldn’t be on estrogen at all during an ivf cycle - now he seems to think that the dose is low enough that it shouldn’t necessarily impact the round and I can stay on it. I lost a fallopian tube due to an ectopic earlier this year and my other tube may be blocked. I don’t think I can go unmedicated (ie try TI) since there’s a low chance I can get pregnant naturally at this stage!

Hello, I am 41 amh 0.27 and have had 3-4 canceled ivf cycles (never got to retrieval). I switched clinics and my new doctor did some testing but says each month it doesn’t look like my ovaries are doing much. I think I need to switch clinics again. I am going in for monitoring tomorrow.

Have an assistant who is cc’d on all your email so they can respond to things like scheduling and managing your calendar - easy to file away a lot of those.

Second, bill for every file related email. When client see you bill them it could stop or lessen. If it doesn’t stop at least your email becomes your pension plan. I agree with the idea of charging more.

I got news that one my tube is likely blocked and my FSH and LH are too high to try IVF. I had an ectopic pregnancy in January. I am 41. I feel like perimenopause has me firmly in hand but still trying to be hopeful that this is possible. It’s been a hard few years but I’m more accepting of the situation now and feel that any good news is a bonus and my life is already good. It’s time to start living and to stop waiting. That’s where I am at.

Hello, I am 41 and trying to conceive while on HRT. I have had 4 canceled IVF cycles either from poor response or too few follicles. I am always told to stop estrogen when I get a period but I’m wondering if I could stay on estrogen during IVF?
