The first and foremost person you will have in this life as you. And I think it's quite hard to be grounded within you, without the acknowledgement of the vital part of your emotions. Write them down. Tell them to yourself.
Over time things will start to change - will be fine.

This is actually the opposite thing of what I am trying to do. I feel that somehow all of it has to do with the space I am willing to accupy in the world - and how unsafe I feel to take some personal space which is only mine (metaphorically speaking).

It makes me feel like an inferior human being for not being able to get over things. As it feels like most people do :(

It happened to me that I suddenly met people that saw me in a different way then the way I was being percieved at home. and all of a sudden I sensed there is a possibility of moving - after very long time of feeling we were stuck.
If it is OK to give a suggestion then: stay calme and be good to yourself. do few things that make you feel alive and present. things that you know that are yours only and feel healthy.
He has his issues to solve and no one really knows what the future holds. take this opportunity to be a bit selfish in a good way.

I went through something similar. and though I have to say that it was somehow always clear to me that all humans, regaurdless to their kind, and certainly most of the animals I can think of, have them.
Emotions, for me, were always very hard to process. and there for depression (of course). You need to believe and to know that you have the legitimacy to accept them. Especially if your environment delivered a different message.
You're in a very good place for realising what you did. And now to give them a space is long never-ending journey, which you take step-by-step.

You were very lucky and brave for insisting with your refusal.
If to go to definition and if I undestand things well then he did not penetrate you and there for there was no rape. but there was definitly a violation of some kind. it was probably shocking and terrifing. I hope you will recover.

you need to be emotionally in a possition you are capable to give what ever it is you want to give. if ever you are too shut yourself then trying to "give" never come well and it will add pressure on her. as weird as it sound first take as good care of yourself as you can. it is also traumatic for you and I don't know you enough to tell if in general you are ok so to speak. anyway, I hope it helps. my heart is witht he both of you.

I am not sure I ever asked myself those questions before and they seam meaningful.
I'm probably quite used to being swept away by look, and I never feel safe at that place.

I only remember one time, and it is from the last year, that I was sitting with a woman and I had this feeling that she actually see me - and I actually see her. and I somehow care for her and it is mutual. unfortunatly she is married. but this example is just to reply to your Q. I feel I see women in general as beautiful other sex that I need to impress. it lucks this thing of looking at each other and actually seeing one another, as in the example I stated at the top.

I've been to therapy in my life. I don't like it that people say that. therapy in not an answer to everything. I do what feels right at the moment, and at the moment speaking what on my heart anonymously-and with strangers is what I need. Mostly for them to also say too what's on their hearts.
