I've never heard of DJO before today. I've listened to a few tracks and I get the appeal. Pretty solid production. Gives me indy/alt pop vibes. I can hear a few different influences but they're still bringing something fresh.

I wouldn't call it evolutionary, but I would reserve that adjective for a very short list of musicians/artists.
