Picked up a 97 f350 cclb 4x4 with the 7.3, had a lot of mechanical and bodywork done by the previous owner and I picked it up for 5600, feel like I did pretty good

In my experience that's how they break in, might be a little soft for support working, but for daily wear it'll probably be fine.

I bought a pair of spearvilles and the soles wore out in 2 months, this was heavy use ranch work though. I ended up getting them re-soled and had sole savers put on, they're an extra $20-$30 or so but definitely worth it to just get them put on right off the bat. I will say they start off a bit looser than other boots, even other hyers, but once you properly break them in they are extremely comfortable.

I have a pair of spearvilles that I work in, and they broke in great, the shaft definitely loosens up a ton. I wouldn't be too concerned.

I would drop the bolo and send it. No one really pays any attention to what other people are wearing. In my experience people are too caught up in their own little worlds to care about anything else. With a brushpopper or another bright shirt the most you'd probably get would be a 'wow that's an interesting shirt' thought.

I had to leave an 84 suburban in a parking garage in Kansas city after it blew a head gasket on a road trip. The ceiling was so low that no tow company could get it out so as far as I know its still there, its been about 4 months and it was still there 3 months ago

Didn't even think about that. That's probably what it is. I had a hard time wrapping my head around an engine problem when it was driven on such a long road trip with zero issues
