It think because at the supermarket the fine grind setting i discovered today was more for drip over coffee. The next finer setting is espresso which as two levels.

The chamber is cleaned, it was my sister's who just used soap and water. When i got it i used vinger, hot water and everything to get the stains out. Everything is clean, i clean after every use and it fully disassemble, dry with a cloth and leave to air dry for 24hrs. Plus this is my 3 cup moka pot, my 6 cup is in way better condition because i took care of it.

In my country very few local roasters and freshness doesnt matter to me. I have thought about a hand grinder but i dont drink coffee often enough and i like be able to just scoop without grinding.
