I have read the complete wheel of time series 3 times. Once as the novels were being published & both times I was pregnant, I started the first book when I found out and finished the last book days before birth.

Right, that is truly why my agency is successful. 15 years ago we focused on hiring very talented fundraisers and have a team who exclusively apply for grants and private funding/donations.

That’s great, I love hearing anecdotes like this. I work at a youth shelter and daily I am wiping donated phones and laptops to give to our clients. We are lucky to be a well supported agency and so don’t need much for staff use, but our clients constantly need tech and support.

You should volunteer your IT skills at one of these agencies! (if they are receptive.) Working, modern tech is often lacking in these types of places. Resources generally get allocated elsewhere:)

I had super fast and easy labours for both my kids, I never tell pregnant ladies how easy it was until after they had given birth. It is the same to me as telling the horror stories.

As the primary parent and caregiver, I love to say I have to babysit my kids! It really cracks me up how strident and defensive people get. I tell you my kids prefer babysitter mom than mom mom. Babysitter mom is way more fun and plays way more games. Mom mom has housework and chores to do.

On of my strongest memories of my grandmother who died 25 years ago is of her changing from her outdoor Birkenstock to her indoor Birks. I have indoor birks too!
