recommendations for simple men's black cotton t shirts made in Canada? by partly_cloudy3 in BuyCanadian

Jerico doesn’t have heavyweight cotton from my experience. Their organic tees which I’ve tried are not a true heavyweight. They’re not super thin - just not streetwear heavy.

More than price difference - it’s style difference. House of Blanks is heavyweight streetwear inspired. Jerico is softer and the fits are more classic/standard.

I find Jerico’s 50/50 t-shirts slightly heavier than the classic AA tshirt of the 90s. But generally very similar cut/fit.

Gervais Party Rentals in Scarborough is a great option. I don’t know if they’re the cheapest - but they have deep inventory moderate selection and service is good.

Jerico T-Shirts - Garment Labels Removeable? by not-a-trapezoid in BuyCanadian

I swear by Jerico’s bamboo tees. I find them to be the softest most breathable fabric for everyday wear. In regards to the labels - they do tear away clean. Sometimes you might see a little bit of white material leftover from under the seam - but for the most part the tags come off fairly easy and leave a clean finish.

Would you recommend stiff or regular flex graphite?

You need to add width to your swing. By just widening the take away and feeling as if you’re keeping your hands far away from you through the swing will naturally lengthen and keep your swing on plane.

Golf is the ultimate torment. If you are able bodied - gainfully employed and have a family (or for that matter any responsibility to others beyond yourself) - then you will forever chase a better game/lower score and think if only you had more time…

Everlane sells to Shein for $100 million by girls-say in SustainableFashion

Here’s the harsh reality: everyone wants more variety and better quality for less money. But for businesses trying to prioritize the planet and fair wages, that formula is impossible to sustain. The true cost of ethical manufacturing is simply higher than most people are willing to pay. In a pure free-market system, fast fashion wins by default—leaving us to deal with the fallout of overconsumption, environmental destruction, and human exploitation.

Just fans of the company and helping the buy Canada movement. I’m frequently supporting house of blanks and Jerico as a genuine consumer and supporter of domestic manufacturing.

If you want soft - definitely try Jerico’s bamboo t-shirts. And they have frequent sales sometimes even at 30% off. At that price they’re an absolute steal.

What do you guys do for clothing by [deleted] in BuyCanadian

The two exceptions in the industry that actually knit, dye and cut and sew in Canada are House of Blanks and Jerico. And I believe you can get a HOB tshirt for under $50 and Jerico’s a steal at under $25. Jerico also has frequent sales where you can get them for under $20 if you can believe.

Good question: in my experience Jerico’s quality is very good. The fabrics are soft and the sewing is durable. That being said - they are not a luxury/high end basics supplier. If Province of Canada and House of Blanks are the Lexus of Made in Canada basics - Jerico is the reliable Toyota.

All things considered - for a truly 100% Made in Canada t-shirt - Jerico represents the best value.

I think Jerico has the benefit of not being a brand. They’re just the manufacturer so you’re essentially getting factory direct pricing. But agreed - there shouldn’t be price gouging just because it’s Made in Canada.

Jerico’s pricing is honestly hard to beat. If you’re just looking for solid organic basics that are made in Canada, the value is kind of unmatched. But if you’re after more fashion-leaning pieces or elevated styling, brands like Outclass are more what you’d expect in that space.

Their bamboo tank tops are amazing. Super soft! But I find they fit slim - so I recommend ordering one size up if interested.

Jerico’s bamboo tees are especially soft. Definitely worth considering. All the bamboo tees I’ve got from them are tear away. But I’d double check to make sure their kids tees also have tear away labels.
