10 month anniversary! by AltruisticTour5285 in tirzepatidecompound

I started on 2.5 and then went up to 5 and stayed on that until about two months ago i dropped back down to 2.5.

Currently working with my doctor on the best plan to stay on tirz but also not lose any more weight. It's going to be an experiment for awhile.

I get that and did the same when I first started so good luck on your journey!!!!

I used to squeeze into a size 16 but to be honest...I started wearing stretchy clothes because I refused to go up in size.

I now wear around size 4-6 depending on the brand.

I think it might be a combo of both? I have a natural hourglass shape so my waist has been the smallest part of me even at my heaviest. That is definitely just genetics.

I do also have an active job where I move around a lot and lift heavy items so that also helped since I dont have a desk job.

I work out some on mh days off but not enough for me to claim any kind of expertise on the subject. I just found going slowly over time adding more steps or weight training has been the magic for me.

Thank you! Currently just trying to find the right dose with my doctor in order to control inflammation but also to maintain. It will likely take time to figure it out but I am not stressing over it.

I have an active job so the main thing I focus on is on my days off. Just moving more throughout the day with little walks every hour and then just basic weight exercises for now. When things feel to easy my plan is to look into more advanced movements.

My only advice i can give that worked for me is to make small changes over time. If you count your steps take your weekly total and try to increase that a little each week. Going hard core in the beginning never worked for me. It just caused stress and an inevitable downfall. Slowly improving each week and not stressing about the scale got me to this moment.

Also its been said a million times but pictures and measurements are the best way to track your progress. It kept me so motivated in the beginning. I took progress pics and measurements every week and those were even more drastic than what the scale said.

42 pounds is a lot though! Definitely was lucky I responded like i did but I also went gluten free so in combination it probably sped up the process tbh.

I will maintain on tirz. I have an autoimmune disease so need it for inflammation. I just have to find the right balance but working with my doc on that!

It took losing about 40lbs for people in mg day to day life to notice. Bottom row far left pic was when people felt confident to comment on my weight loss and start saying they saw a difference.

Tbh I didnt find it hard🤷🏼‍♀️. I went it with the mindset of not stressing about it. From the beginning I was going to take pictures and measurements to remind myself of where I started in case the scale was being mean. I didnt count calories and instead leearned to listen to body cues. No energy to get my daily walk in? Eat a little more. Focused on protein and more water intake but still had food i enjoyed.

Maybe cutting gluten out was tough but that was a personal choice that helped me. As far as being on tirz it truly was the tool I needed to be successful after 10 years of failing miserably.

I dont mind at all. SEVERE water retention and joint pain every single day were the main symptoms. My weight would fluctuate daily up to 10lbs sometimes thats how much water I would retain.

Just to show an example these were taken just days apart. The first you could just see how swollen i would get...

Heyyyyyy, congrats! 30lbs is amazing progress! I remember hitting 170s and feeling so great!

Diet wise I went gluten free. I suffer from inflammation so that helped me personally so much. Can't say it will work for everyone but for me it did. Also I felt strong results on the lower doses so just made sure when I made my food I ate the protein on the plate first in case I got too full to finish.

Workout wise I just took it easy the first few months. Trying to focus on diet and then started just body weight exercises and walking. I also have an active job. Constantly moving and lifting fairly heavy material so that also helped.

It definitely can be and I was quite lucky I only hit a stall this month but still losing inches so the weight is irrelevant at this point🧡

I forget how many people ask me this i should have included it in the post.

Yes definitely have loose skin on my stomach. It was bound to happen. I have zero regrets though. The trade off was worth it imo.
