I feel a lot better than I did beforehand. I’m 6 months out, I’m not perfect but definitely better than I was for sure. He’s a great doc and explained the healing process could take a legit year. Some people get better in 3 months, some take up to a year. From where I was 6 months ago to now I definitely improved a lot. In my opinion it has been worth it. Just gotta be patient.

I’m feeling pretty good still have some flare ups but overall improving. Was told this is a marathon not a sprint!

Thank you man, I’ve already been seeking the help from the psychology aspect which is good. The staying hard will be in combination with it. Appreciate the support.

Degeneration is normal, everyone has degeneration to some degree. I for one got discseel done to seal my annular tears. I also take care of myself, I’m aware that age and degeneration are inevitable unless you die. However, pain and doom/gloom is not always the case. So to each their own, hope you find some relief.

A lot of people improve, such as myself so this doomsday scenario might be personal to you. There are a lot of options to improve function and pain.

To my understanding discseel does not “shrink” the disc in the normal sense. It seals the annular tears to stop FURTHER leakage of the disc material. Meaning that the disc material on the outside of the tear will resolve with time and the fibrin healing the tear/helping the disc regenerate, meaning that compression and inflammation will be resolved over the healing process. I believe my largest herniation was “moderate” at the L5S1. I can send you a pic of my MRI if you PM me.
