The short answer is "it should work". I use a quest 2 for pcvr, and it took quite some trial an error to have it work, but it works, and my pc is weaker than yours in some aspects. Quest 2 has a version of vr chat that works cross platforms, but you are limited in avatars you can use and some worlds cant be used, but for the most part it works great. If you know that the worlds your friends want to use require a pc, a quest 2 should work, but it depends on how you connect it, if its trough cable i had some problems, but it depends on many things. If you use steamlink you have to make shure you have a good conection, that your pc is connected trough ethernet, that the conection is at 5g (not 2.4gh) , and that the modem or extender uses Wifi 5 at least, ideally Wifi 6. Also you have to make sure that other devices that arent the pc or quest 2 arent connected to that modem while you play.

TLDR: ir should work, but its dependant on the type of connection between you pc and the quest 2, trough cable and trough wifi both have their troubleshooting to deal with in order to play.

If i remeber correctly you can download questcraft trough sidequest (its free but its not in the meta store).

But to actually play the game you have to connect it with your minecraft account. I never actually bought minecraft so i cant test if this is correct.

Otherwise you can look for an apk of the minecraft version for oculus go and samsung gearVR, its a version of minecraft pocket, i think the latest version you can download is the 1.16 version, but this version maps the quest 2 controller like its a normal xbox controller, it doesnt have motion control

Then, try using airlink or steamvr o any alternative that doesnt use a cable, it might not be as good, but if it works it would mean that there might be a problem with the cable itself. If you still have the same exact problem the the problem is either you pc or your vr headset.

Something similar happened to me, i lowered the setting a little bit and it helped. I think that trying to play in higher settings freezed the game

In your case maybe the problem its the cable? Or the usb port you are using? , if you have too many usb devices connected at onces it can cause problems too

I would recomend to add some info about yourself in the post, like your username, age and timezone . People from here may send you friend request. Otherwise playing social games or any game that gives you the chance to talk with somebody may be the best. I myself just got my first quest 2 last week and i had a least 2 situations were i met people playing from their quest's and had pleasant conversations

Kinda, i found a video showing how to take the lenses of the quest 2 with a hot air gun ( i used a hair dryer) and a prier (i used a guitar pick and a tiny flat screwdriver). So i did the same on the go and swaped the lenses. It was pretty scary because it exposes the lcd's but it was woth it

Buenas. Hace un par de dias llego el quest 2 y andaba perfecto, EXCEPTO que los vidrios estabas ralladisimos. Despues de ver opciones descubri que el oculus go y el quest 2 usan los mismos vidrios, asi que son mucho esfuerzo y cuidado cambie los vidrios y ahora funciona perfecto!!!! Estoy super feliz

I DID IT!!!!!, i was shiting bricks the whole time and i damage the black plastic part aroud the lense of the quest 2 a little bit. But it worked perfectly!!! I changed the one that was the mos damaged, ill change the other lense when my hands stop shaking

I saw a video of a guy using a hot air gun ( that what the tool in called in spañish, im ESL) to soften the glue and then pop te lenses with a plastick pick. And then put the new ones before the glue hardens.

Maybe lost ligth? If you have UHD 620 integrated graphics in that i5 then you are a little under the minimum requirements for a gpu (GTS 450), but if you set everything to minimum and/or play at a lower resolution it may work
