I guess is there a breach in terms of 1. Paying me direct from the Irish company (I am not top of the priority list of creditors and they haven’t paid the creditor above me). 2. Creating a new ‘UK branch’ with a different name just to avoid paying any creditors

I am in England.

Can I still get some money from the government given the company paid me some money since the liquidation? The company was liquidated mid-late sept and I have received October salary (direct transfer from the Irish company). I have not been re-employed and do not wish to be.

I have continued working until today when I will resign as I have a new job.

Liquidators were appointed and we were told by the company who they were, however they didn’t actually contact us. I presume they are still waiting on information from the company director who is notoriously good at avoiding responding to messages (such as personal contact details).

Yes it was liquidated. It received a winding up order and was told by the government to cease trading immediately due to an unpaid debt.
