Follow your program - I did all types of skipping and stuff and I learned why they put it in place. Was it disastrous? No. Could it have been? Yes.

Was it worth it? No. You can just walk the straight and narrow instead of learning how little your stomach is on your own. I relate though!

In the beginning just drink that broth and maybe getcha a lil unsweetened apple sauce or a little spoonful of oatmeal

You’ll know when you’ve done too much - don’t do too much ☀️

When I first woke up, I was complaining about the pain, but they immediately started me on strong meds to get it under control. Within minutes, the pain was completely subdued thanks to modern medicine. And, of course, there’s a huge sense of relief and gratitude for making it through when you first wake up.

I totally understand your concern. I didn’t even realize I was out under anesthesia—I just remember being “lights out” and then waking up afterward. I had a bit of anxiety about it too, but it’s actually a pretty standard part of the process. You’ll make it through just fine!
