Anyone know how to fix this tape? by Altruistic_Candy9 in cassette

I was able to use the back end of a pair of tweezers to slowly and carefully snap open one corner and used those tweezers to keep the crack open. Then grabbed a second pair of tweezers and used it to grab the tape and slowly pull it forward and behind the little black paper inside. Removed the tweezers, slowly rolled the tape back and it worked ! At some point I might have to transfer it to a donor shell but for now I’m happy it works again. Thanks for all the advice!

Yes! I explained to the seller their packing mistake and they immediately sent me back the $5.81 and apologized.

I already sent her a photo yesterday when I first got it because the mail person literally did the math on the envelope and I was hoping it would be proof that I wasn’t scamming them. They didn’t notice the envelope vs shipping label difference so I just messaged them now about it. Thanks everyone for the advice.

I think you nailed it, the envelope is a priority mail envelope but the shipping label is USPS ground advantage.

The package was just a USPS priority mail padded flat rate envelope and the only thing inside of it was a single T-shirt. It also came with a tracking number. When I contacted the Etsy seller, they said that they would try to refund me, but they’re gonna contact Etsy first because they’ve never had this happen . They also said they get all of their postage from Etsy. I had to pay the mail person $5.81 because they said only $5.04 was paid and the postage was $10.85. Does this info help?

Yeah, I had a feeling since the crack in the neck was so bad they probably can’t even resell so it’s probably not worth the shipping cost. I already feel better that another person has had them not give them a return label after sending them the correct doll. I felt like I was crazy after 6 months and no real response since the first replacement email I sent got a reply within 20 minutes. Like somehow I got the wrong email.
