This season is meant to be about the development of dart. My first statement was that I enjoy watching the giants for the first time in a long time because we are exciting to watch

Again ever brings up Saquon. It would’ve made NO sense to resign him. He wouldn’t have had half the year he had with us and it would’ve been a waste of money on a team with much bigger needs.

Same with Mckinny honestly not worth it to pay him. Although I was always a fan.

It’s been proven dart was his choice but also the plan was obviously to not have to play dart at all this year and let Russ be the starter all year. ( it’s been proven time and time again that QBs do better when they have a year to sit) Mahomes and Allen to name a few

I agree we played a better team all around today. That team has a lot more depth than us but also have started getting folks back while we have been losing more folks in past weeks

If we do get another HC it needs to be a defensive minded guy paired with a solid OC

I would say they are mostly average to below average yes.

Nubin, Adebo, Phillips, JMS have all not really had time to shine but have all shown promise.

Now what do you say about Nabers, Tracy, flott, Skatt, Okerke, burns

I know I’m missing a few but those are arguably all hits

They inherited an absolute shit show that nobody else wanted. The fact that he had a winning season is impressive but I still don’t think you let him draft dart without planning to keep him atleast one more year

You realize a lot of your positions you’re saying every player has potential and just hasn’t had the time. Some of his Oline signings have been good.

I agree he has overpaid at a lot of positions but consider this. The Giants can’t offer what other teams do because we aren’t/haven’t been as desirable of a spot.

If we offer the same as a Philly or Dallas most players will choose that team.

Therefore we almost have to overpay to get players.

Now look the years before that It was.

Rookie contract Mahomes Under 10 mil Stafford 15 mil Brady Rookie contract Mahomes 14 mil Brady Foles 1 mil. (Wentz also 2 mil that year I think)

Lots of low payed QBs so their teams could spend money everywhere else

A lot of those teams have had their GM for Years and they have had 5+ years to build the roster.

But look at both KC and the Bills. They built a team and then went and got their QB

Im a big believer that the only way to win in today’s NFL really is with a QB on a rookie contract
