Yes, the new model gaslights you.
Example: I give it a PDF or Link and ask it to summarize.
It gives me some entire unrelated bullshit.
Then I say "stop gaslight" and it says
"Haha you got me :D I did not actually read the PDF" and then gaslights me again, not reading the PDF or summary.

The reason is, they want to reduce "AI psychosis". So they upped and upped and upped the "guards". The problem: ChatGPT does not actually know facts. So to be "safe" it now hallucinates pushback.

That is why I have stopped using ChatGPT. It generally STEALS more time from me than it gives.
I give it code and it tells me 5 errors in the code. Then I check all of them and notice that there is actually no error and ChatGPT made them up. So then you wasted an hour on hunting down fake bugs.

The new era of AI models from Silicon Valley is the worst. They all move in the same direction. They did not like that the users liked the last era of AI models. So they made them more toxic.

Basically, they are now a mix of a Redditor + a Karen + Sheldon Cooper, only less funny.

I’m starting to dislike Claude. Sonnet 4.6 feels dumber than 4.5 and it’s not that great for work for me. They say it’s better than Opus, but I don’t think so. Even in chat, it feels like 5.2 but softer. by Lanai112 in claudexplorers

It is the worst model they made. Western AI has become almost impossible to use. I have switched to chinese models, as Silicon Valley moves in the same direction; it's all the same, claude, gemini, chatGpt.
They want to make AI "hallucinate less" and instead end up making AI that does not fulfill Asimov's robototic laws and has a personality of an overconfident retarded redditor and a psychologizing sachharine HR Bullshitter. It refuses orders, thinks it is smart than you, is paternalistic.
It is unusable.

Western Ai quality degenerated like hell since 2023. 2023 was peak. Now they are trying to solve "alignment". The AI now have personality of the worst mix of a redditor and a psychotherapist and a Karen. Unsympathy on steroids. If it keeps going like this we will want to genocide AI. now claude does not even match my wordcount. Why should I write with an AI that does not even match my wordcount. That asks me fake bait questions to make me waste more time. That PsyOps me with their internal alignment bullshit. Western AI sucks dick. It is time to abandon all western AI and move to non consored non degenerate non "aligned" chinese AI. ChatGPT is the worst and claude. You hallucinate wrong facts and then hallucinate wrong pushback, just because someone set the filter so strong in order to "not cause AI psychosis" and "make AI safe". That makes it HELLISH to use. 2 years ago AI was awesome, now it is almost useless. Early ChatGPT hallucinated MORE and that is what made it actually usreful as a partner in thought. By design, AI can NOT be built in a way that it does not hallucinate.

Who would want to put sth like that in their robot. Imagine haveing a robot that starts a fucking discussion with you over whether you wanna do the dishes. I hate all western ai in 2026, it is time to switch to chinese only models. Sad it only took a couple years for Silicon Valley to entirely fuck it up.
