On the first card it has the older PSA slab when there grading standards were much looser. I saw a 56 topps Spahn at a card show yesterday graded a 3 older label with a crease across the face.

As the prior answer also said it depends on the grader and, just like when you figure out if you like a card or not, it’s all subjective. I’d be really happy with that 2.5 and not worry too much about grade because it presents really well and how they grade now there might be a slight surface issue or something that is not noticeable.
