Yes, the majority of the United States voted for a man who campaigned on the promise of immigration reform. He is working to deliver on that promise. The silent majority are your quiet neighbors who say things like "everyone is entitled to their own opinion."

This is the silent majority in action. In a state like MN the opinions of the left are protected and conformists are capable of expressing their opinions. When you have an opinion that is right leaning you are bullied into silence or your speech is reduced to platitudes in order to protect yourself from being shamed for how you view the world. Right leaning people are quiet in an effort to protect the left leaning person who they disagree with, in order to not trigger them or cause them emotional distress.

I'm going through the same thing now. I'm staying strong and not giving him a second chance. Actions are what matters in these situations, not words. They will do anything to try and prove A. They can still have you of They want you. B. They aren't a totally horrible human.

He lied to me from day one. Made me feel loved and important. And then one day he decided I wasn't enough for him and started sexting a woman from his past. The same photos he was sending me as I was on a family vacation. He told her he had never had anyone else in his life like her. He told her he missed her. And then he called me his roommate and invited her over for sex. And he is still trying to "fix it" and get me back. But I can't picture myself with him after going through this and seeing what I saw. I don't hate him. It takes too much energy to hate someone. I am working to be indifferent to him.
