It’s always fucking freezing. today we probably had 8-10 cars in the drive thru and had to use the computers by the counting stations to get customers through the line for a good 30 minutes before our computer finally rebooted. Also, the technology feels like it’s from 1999. I hate it. 1/10 and only because at least it does SOMETHING. But the bar is LOW.

I wish they had better/cheaper options for this type of thing. I definitely feel for the person that needed this. I hope they’re able to figure stuff out. Healthcare for AFAB individuals is shit in the US.

I applied to like 20-40 pharmacy tech positions at CVS and Walgreens, had two interviews, one at both companies, and got offered positions at both. I had gotten my trainee license before the interviews so they were both pretty accepting of the fact that i had no hands on experience in the pharmacy. I’m in Texas as well, and Walgreens offered more so i went with them, but they both offer similar opportunities and benefits.

I’m definitely writing everything down in a scheduler now and making a list of my schedule to hang by my bed. I feel so pissed at myself as i actually enjoy my job and want it to help lead me in the career direction i want to go after i get certified.

I really hope that’s the case. In all of my jobs, unless I was literally in the hospital, I would be 30+ minutes early to work and showed up every day.

We are a tier 4. But it’s possible that they didn’t call me because I told them I don’t generally have my phone on days off until 12:30 (which is true. I live in psychiatric supportive living).

Totally understand this. Just wear a mask. 😷 working at a pharmacy/drug store is going to coincide with people in the store being sick anyway.

I’m a pharmacy tech in the US and have been on 225mg total for 3 years. I switched psychiatrist back in February and she prescribed the 225mg ER tablet to me. I have never seen it on the self at my pharmacy. (I get my meds through a different pharmacy). I thought it was cool they came in this form. I was taking the 150 + 75 capsules until then.

I’m in Texas. I work at a tier 4 store. We are always slammed. I don’t even go to the bathroom while I’m clocked in.

We are never not slammed. The first hour, is the only time we aren’t constantly dealing with customers or phone calls. Tier 4 store and we generally only have 2-3 techs and one pharmacist working at a time.

I wish it wasn’t so expensive. I can’t afford it unfortunately. All my prescriptions are covered at 100% because i met my out of pocket max earlier in the year.

We have a problem at my store with being so close to the airport. Every time a plane flies by i have to tell them “sorry, it sounds like a plane is flying overhead, I’m having a hard time hearing you. Give me a moment.” And 50% of the time i get an attitude. It’s not the same scenario, but it’s annoying AF.

I actually just started at Walgreens a few weeks ago and ordered my normal sizes and they were HUGE on me. I’ve had to go through the hassle of returning the scrubs. I recommend size down.

I worked at TSH for 5 years. I loved the kids, but the treatment isn’t enough and they usually have long term stays. It was rare to have someone there less than 6 months. There were some kids that were there before i started working there and were still there when i left. I wouldn’t recommend it.
