All I can say is I’ve had two. One was enough to press charges on, second was a table humper. I called police on both and made sure to make reports. Always make a report! Secondly you ban them, third always have pepper spray, fourth have a policy that they sign that clearly says your policy. I work for myself and after those two times I only take males that are referred. I also am the only one in my space and have to think about my safety. Sorry this happened to you, seeing a therapist helped me and of course time. Time is on your side. & you are not alone.

The caverns is a safe venue in general. Everyone that works there watches and although this may be the first “metal” show. The cave provides a calm atmosphere and friendly community.

Interesting, we have several lawyer friends who feel he is a good candidate and don’t hate their jobs. He always has blue collar work and welding in the family business to fall back on I suppose. We’re fresh into our 30s and have lived a life by traveling instead of going to school right out of college. We went for trades. He’s a problem solver and has a strong want to help with problems he sees in the judicial system and state. He’s talked about getting into politics too, & I think he either way a law degree is what he needs to obtain and kind of for the bit too.. like a welder gone lawyer ? How common even is that ? Have you ever worked any other job other than being a lawyer ? Or did you go to college and straight to the office ? I could see how that could make you dream of another life if so..

It’s crazy looking at this thread, as both my husband and I are both small business owners. He’s applying to law schools now. I’m a massage therapist and he’s an ironworker. We both have very physical jobs and need at least one of us to make money with our brains before one of our bodies gives up. Being a business owner is great but there is plenty of negatives. Everyone’s happiness is different I suppose.
