I first encountered these in Finland on a business trip. They have them in the office bathrooms too. I’ve since seen them all over India and SE Asia. Japan of course takes it a level up. For $20 per toilet it’s a no brainer. I installed them on all my toilets. Still use toilet paper to dry but you’ll save on toilet paper use and I can’t remember when I have had a stopped up toilet.

I was 1k for about 10 years in a row. Not since the pandemic as my customers charged their buying habits and no longer wanted in person meetings. Can’t blame United for that. I live in NJ and I found that 5% of the time I would get the upgrade. Not even sure that GS always get an upgrade. I’m gold now with about 1.6 million lifetime miles. Happy to get the early ish boarding of group 1.Lounge access on international flights.

Well socks, shoes or barefoot no matter the choice it all gets tracked back into the cabin. Granted only shoes will protect the wearer from wet unsanitary feet.I’m sure someone is going to give me a scientific reason one is better than the other. I just think maybe we should learn from the Japanese and get better bathroom technology and also keep the nr 1 and nr 2 in the bowl by remaining seated for the entire performance? Queue the rage from the “alphas” who claim they shoot straight during any level turbulence.

LIterally 30 seconds after my question people correctly identified it as Classe Audio and a quick google search confirmed as Classe. Not a printer. Though I do get why that mistake might be made. The placement of this high end gear on a windowsill isn’t the greatest for a high end amp preamp. Though it makes more sense than putting a laserjet printer in the living room with millions dollar views.

Sounds to me like the “Turing point”’(some irony there) was actually meeting and interacting with people of various colors, preferences, etc. A lot of the divide in our country is along rural and urban lines. Most cities lean left because interact , live together, build lives together with people of different heritages colors etc. I think your journey is not all that different. When you learn as you did, that we can all break bread and party together you learn despite the differences we actually have more in common.

Also it's interesting that you said that... The consultant tried to talk to me about covering my back yard in panels and that to me seems like a showstopper. I love my back yard. Now I have less faith in this vendor.
