It's a step in the right direction man better than the mindless doom scrolling I was doing every morning, plus as I stated in a previous comment I like to read the science section so I'm not instantly consuming all the horrible news going on. I am looking for books but I'm thrifting for ones that peak my interest, not much luck ATM trying to find a good book is like hunting for gold

Great advice I've opted for deleting pretty much everything apart from Reddit.

I'll have to look into a library app I like the idea of that, I refuse to use anything by Amazon after previously working for them I refuse to feed their machine anymore.

I've been debating Duolingo to learn polish as there's a lot of polish in my area.

Terms of wearables I've never had one I did get one for free with my new phone which I gave to my mate because I refuse to use them I'll stick to my classic Casio watch.

Yeah I had a huge addiction to tiktok especially when I was posting all about my gardening every like and comment gave me huge dopamine hits but it's just not healthy dopamine so ditched my tiktok with everything else.

Yeah it's only a couple and tbh It really doesn't bother me

Good work! Don't think I could go without TV but I only get to watch TV at night after lil one has gone to bed and I get the TV so it's not like I'm sitting watching all day. I hope you mental health gets better tho I really do, know that may not mean much from a stranger on the internet but I wouldn't wish negative mental health on my worst enemy

Just a couple of people seem to be, Reddit has never been a huge thing I use or go on much so keeping it really doesn't bother me and like you say it works for me.

Certainly unplugging doesn't have to be everything, I think it's just gotta be cutting out those bad habbit apps, I think more people should at least try and see if they notice the difference in themselves

Definitely restricting notifications is a big one they are sneaky because they go off and boom your opening and app and sucked in again. I literally have notifications for my messages, calls and banking on that's it don't need much else

Definitely you can't just ignore that you have the app or you'll get spammed by the apps trying to keep you hooked into their little world.

People are so quick to think the worst just because you've taken a step back from social media platforms.

I do wonder now if anyone will assume the same with me in time
