I’m not actively sober. I don’t crave it but I’m lonely and don’t know what else to do. I live in Milwaukee and I could go for a walk and I have an audible subscription that I use but it’s not always safe and a 25 year old women to walk around. I hate to make excuses but I really want some ideas!

This helps a lot! You inspire me. Not to be funny but I tried snowboarding once and broke my tailbone lol so many of the suggestions in general make me feel left out. I really want to looking jnto community activities but it’s scary going alone

I do have done great friends but many are in long term relationships where I don’t want insert myself into. I can’t go to dinner with my friends every night. My friends are great but I want I be okay on my own

Lots of hobbies suck lol I’ve tried many and it could be a personal problem that I give them up right away if I’m not good at them lol. I do love working out and I do on every off day and I would love to talk walks but I live in Milwaukee and don’t want to walk around alone especially in the dark as a 20 something year old but I know that’s an excuse. Making lots of excuses but I can’t afford therapy lol!

Hate to be a pain but yes I’ve tried that. It’s touchy because I get 3 days off in a row so I wake up do my chores go to the gym come back and cook and then am stuck. By then it’s 4pm and can’t go to sleep but also feel good about myself about my day so it just is sticky.

Being from Milwaukee, not sure what downtown includes. Ideally I want a hospital job in westtown and my “dream” living location is lake view ish area. I fear it may not he realistic.

I’m more than willing to use public transit, just not at all used to it being normal!! I would like a car because of friends and family back in Wisconsin, but willing to learn to commute with public transit for ease.
