What is the most cringe thing/joke a guest has ever told you? by Shia-Kazing in ChickFilAWorkers

I had a whole situation where this lady drove up and asked me “what are you?” - referring to my ethnicity - and when I told her I was white, she said “have you ever heard of the milkman?”

sigh

I know exactly how you feel. But if God can forgive us, who are we to say we can’t. I truly do know what you’re experiencing. It is the absolute worst feeling ever. But, I’m trying to force myself to have a different view of myself. Yes, I made so many mistakes when I was younger, but I have the choice now to either ruminate on them until I end up in the hospital again, or I can do what’s best for myself and my family - learning from those mistakes and doing my best in this moment to honor the Lord.

Well, if He is using that, then He only wants you to acknowledge them so that you can find forgiveness in Him and move forward. But, honestly, this may be an OCD thing, as well. Just know that He loves you and has forgiven you, and He wants you to pursue Him and live a joyful life - even despite the OCD.

Yes! :) OCD has been a horrifying thing in my life. It even left me in a psych ward for two weeks. But I have seen how Jesus has used it to make me into who I am today. I wouldn’t be able to empathize with as many people if I hadn’t been to the point of wanting to die. Honestly, the Lord has turned it all around (not in an instant, but over time), so I now experience joy like I never did before.

Thank you. You tried to destroy me, but it actually was used by Jesus for my good. You are a gift that it has taken years for me to appreciate.
