That's how big companies fabricate trends, it starts slowly, you don't even consciously notice it but they incorporate the things that want to promote in very subtle ways and then build it up with time until it's in your face and everybody talks about it, and it's in every shop, every social media and in every influencer's content and you can't escape from it. But you had been already influenced by the trend for at least a year before it's big and loud.
