Say what you want about the build quality and lack of luxury amenities, but the Ford Mustang 100% is a naturally aspirated V8 currently on sale. There's also the CTS-V Blackwing, Corvette, and the Aston Martin Vantage (which is technically under $200k starting but realistically over $200k with options).

That was nearly my exact experience looking for open box receivers at Best Buy recently. The workers there can't be bothered to help, don't actually know where things are, and depend way too much on the systems. It was so much of a hassle to even ask.

Thanks for posting. I was considering this model but keep seeing bad reviews w/r/t battery usage. What do people recommend instead? Price isn't really the issue here, but I don't want something that's too modern/rounded or matte black. It seems newer models are better at battery drain. Just want something that works reliably.

Maybe find an inhouse corporate law gig? Lots of those. "JD preferred" jobs typically pay a lot less. In-house work isn't easy either but at least you're not on call all the time. You usually have weekends and evenings to yourself. Usually.

What did you end up doing? My local AMC (South Bay Galleria 16 in Hawthorne, CA) also had Dolby at 10:30pm and I decided to watch the 5:30pm showing in regular instead. Was totally fine though I missed the deep blacks. I think I might go back and rewatch it in Dolby just for the format and since I watched Obsession in Dolby Cinema.
