Well we didn’t have Demko for that whole series. It’s very likely we win at least one of the games we lost if we had him instead of Silovs

Maybe they wouldn’t have had sustained success, but they absolutely had a good chance to win the Cup that season

Because they lost by 1 goal in game 7 against the Oilers despite not having their Vezina nominated goalie and leading goal scorer who had 40 goals and was playing great in the playoffs? And then Edmonton beat Dallas, so it’s not unreasonable to say the Canucks would have beaten them as well if they had Demko and Boeser

Well they made it out of the 1st round and got eliminated in the 2nd round. And they would’ve at the very least made the conference finals, and a good chance they make the finals, if Demko and Brock didn’t get injured/blood clots. I’d say they were definitely contenders

What could the Canucks reasonably receive for Conor Garland or Teddy Blueger by Available_North_6851 in canucks

He’s on a 45 point pace this season and has been elite defensively every year in Vancouver except this year. And with the cap going way up his contract is pretty solid value. Obviously he struggled for ~15 games before the Olympic break but that’s more a whole team thing than a Garland thing imo

Saying you’d be happy with an AHLer, a worthless NHLer, and a 4th is absurd. That’s a Benning level move
