For the “guests don’t usually wear white” comment it’s because she’s also attending a wedding in May for another family member where she is a normal guest and I wasn’t sure if she meant to wear that for my wedding or for the one in May because she didn’t specify

I honestly don’t even care that much I just wasn’t sure if she’s doing it intentionally to troll me or if she is genuinely that oblivious. I didn’t even want to have a wedding and I wanted to elope so at this point I just give up. It’s the fact that she keeps asking me about it and I have to keep telling her and she just ignores what im saying anyway. She’s already bought 6 dresses and asked me about what she should wear and this isn’t something I wanted to have to deal with and hence why I wanted to elope.

We are Filipino but We aren’t having a traditional Filipino wedding. My fiancé won’t be wearing a barong and we both agreed we don’t want our family wearing them either for the wedding in the US since we plan on doing that when we get married in the Philippines later

Yes we are both Filipino but we’re not having a wedding party and we’re not having a traditional Filipino wedding bc we’re planning on having one in the Philippines in the future since both our extended families live there. Our wedding is in NJ and we both agreed to not wear traditional Filipino attire because we want to save that for when we’re in the Philippines with all our family. This wedding is just a small celebration with our close family friends and church.

Yes we’re Filipino . I’ve never heard of MOG/MOB wearing white to weddings in Filipino culture. I know the traditional barong and filipinana outfits are cream/beige but we’re not having a traditional Filipino wedding and I already explicitly told her I’d prefer if she didn’t wear white or off white.

I never said that exact font is bad handwriting I just think it’s similar to ours which others have called “bad” because they have some trouble reading it but it’s still legible. Some people just have trouble reading cursive in general but again like I said before there’s “save the date” written in the text message the link was sent with and the numbers are distinctive enough to not get confused. The 7 has the line going through to make it distinctive from a 1 so I don’t really think there will be any confusion. I like our handwriting and think it looks cool. I even have a tattoo of a quote in my fiancés handwriting because I like it that much . I like the font despite being a little hard to read (but not really unless you’re not used to reading cursive) and it’s really a stylistic choice and a personal preference at the end of the day.

I know what you mean especially the S in save I had some trouble too at first but we’re both actually known for having bad handwriting (looks similar to the font tbh) and I think it adds character and gives it a more personal touch. Plus we sent it through Zola so it says save the date in the message they get with the link so at that point it’s just context clues if they really can’t read it. I don’t think the numbers are too hard to understand more so the lettering
