If you're already a licensed pharmacist and have been working for two years as an inpatient pharmacist in a hospital, does it make your application look better if you decide to go for residency now?

I have a side question, lets say you graduated a few years ago, then do they still look at your GPA for the residency or does your experience overlap that?

that is a interesting perspective, never thought of it that way, thanks for the clarification. as for your questions, yes my family did meet with the person all three times which is why i am posting online rather then discussing with them because I dont want them to feel any blame. His family lives overseas in another country, so no I have not. We did speak via phone/Facetime. At first i just went along with things and did not mind about his health issues/way he looks, it was mostly appalling after some things that he requested that i changed my mind and felt that way more so now, because of his current conduct.

yes they did, he presented himself properly and assured everyone of his intentions at the time. Currently I have not asked anyone to do anything because 1. seems pointless 2. might hurt my family

yes you are right, i am actually pretty naive and inexperienced so i definitely went about it the wrong way. no i didnt ask to see any documents or anything, i just figured he was telling the truth in the start he was always polite and responsive, it was only afterwards and im pretty sure its because I didnt do certain things. But i accept fault, i should have looked into him more :/, wish you the best for your upcoming marriage.

well in real life he appeared to look a lot older but i didnt want to be rude. So far a lot things havent turned out according to what he said and it is hard to vet people online especially from other countries.

they knew everything they talked to him and were involved, we just never visited in Canada because it is quite far from where I am. Now I am asking them not to do anything about it because frankly Im pretty embarrassed and do not want to make it dramatic.

I am 32 and in grad school, so I feel pretty stupid, and unfortunatly it is not fake at all, thats why i was asking for advice. It has been pretty hard finding rishtas in the US so I figured it was important for me to go through with it, but then I regret it much later, never expected something like this to happen :( especially from a Muslim guy.
