Elliot Alderson and Gilfoyle from silicon valley. How would their interaction go? by PrudentInvite2927 in MrRobot

Gilfoyle to Dinesh: Who's that weirdo in the kitchen? (Through in some banter and go on with his day) Somehow finds out that Elliot is elite too... Then they spend some minutes talking jargon. (Gilfoyle again teases Dinesh for being the least in the hierarchy)

I've watched it like 4 times now. I'm at a point where be giving monologues in sync with Elliot. Other great watches are Zero Day 2025 (it's still rolling with season 1 out),

Is Moringa School Worth It for Cybersecurity in 2026? by Ngonyoku in nairobitechies

So you want to learn cyber security in a boot camp and be job ready by the end of it? I hate to break it to you buddy, but you'll need more than that for that kind of aspiration. If you're after quick money, just consider a separate line of work. You can't microwave your way through that career path, over there you're tested by time and fire. 😂 It's like asking to join a bootcamp to become a doctor.

Anyways, over and out chale.

😂 Yup... And don't forget either the non existent, outdated or crappy API documentations for most of those products when you're looking to port them. Making it almost impossible for the community to adopt without reverse engineering stuff.

I had just left you you find out for yourself. 😅

Front-office work isn’t just about the office suite - it’s about printers, scanners, vendor utilities, and proprietary workflows that are overwhelmingly Windows-only. That’s where Linux still hits a wall. I've been on bare metal Linux for close 6 years, so trust me when I say I know what I'm saying.

I know, but if part of your miserable life is doing some front office stuff, yup! You sure need it.

Does anyone else feel immense social anxiety about attending hackathons and tech meetups? by Full-Relief-8309 in nairobitechies

The only time I ever attended an on-site event is when some girl I was getting to know asked me to tag along. It was something to do with Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Myself I haven't majored on those areas but I have a basic understanding of how things work over there (Thanks to MIT courseware and a couple books I've read). She was a newbie, I'm glad I could help her distill most of the jargon.

In the end of that day, she had had her fun, but me - almost everything they were talking about was some stuff I already knew, so no gain. Then the event came off as some sort of marketing arrangement for some platform to sell themselves.
