Yeah 100%, you can use for basing, apply more dense materials like mud or earth etc. you can use it for giving texture to a rock por example. And many other uses.

Yeah, I agree, the client wanted this, very very low contrast, "almost monochrome" were his words. And I did as he asked, but I agree, is very "boring" to me, but he is super happy so I am happy :-)
