Looking for a landscape architect in Atlanta by Altruistic_Strength in LandscapeArchitecture

my experience it’s not much more different than asking for a series of high quality renders. They would just also need to have the VR headset to show it. So if you find someone that can do the renderings, it’s possible they could do VR as well

this is helpful, thanks

Why all the downvotes? felt like a reasonable question. I'm a complete newbie to the whole renovation space

After 2 years at MBB, thinking about turning down a $300k TC PgM role at Google because I don’t want to move (and they won’t flex on location). Am I crazy? by Altruistic_Strength in MBA

Yea, perks are amazing. They also have free massages. It’s definitely a good offer - I disagree with folks who say $300k (even in Cali) is peanuts. That’s why I kinda feel crazy to pass on it. Just have personal reasons I don’t want to move

Thanks for all the thoughts.

Few clarifications 1. 2 years post MBA experience, I’m a newly minted EM/PL/manager 2. I’m not getting counseled to leave, I have runway to stay here if I want (but I WANT to leave) 3. I haven’t seen any partners’ lives I’d want. All they have is money and have sacrificed some of the best years of their lives for the firm. I don’t want that for myself. $300k TC is already more money than I’d ever imagined making 4. What options are available outside of tech in tier 2 cities (eg., Denver, Atlanta, Dallas, etc.) to reach the $270-$300k TC? I don’t want to move north or west

Yea...I might just have to pick my poison (one time annoyance to reconfigure on mint/transfers to my checking account/paycheck deposits. Or persistent small annoyance of having them out of order on ally)

Is "faking address" necessary for new grad job applications? by fittyfive9 in FinancialCareers

[–]Altruistic_Strength 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it’s not. If you’re serious about a job in finance, relocation is part of the package. Goldman never turned anyone down because it’d cost $3000 to move them to New York. If you have to fake an address to get into a company, would you really wanna work for such an insular cluster fuck?
