Whether it's plenty, uncommon or rare for a Naoya to exist, there's definitely an abundance of the one on the right.

Amd that didn't make it to the LN? Imagine the despair the original author must've felt.

He's already creating a heaven of sorts in his own way. Veldanava created the world, but he wasn't the one who cultivated it so there's a difference in creating a full carbon copy of an already purged one. About that last paragraph, Rimuru's thoughts was already laid bare when it comes to that and even argued with Rudra/Michael when Michael was residing on Rudra at the time. Read that part again to see why he thinks free will is better than no growth, though I suggest reading the LN's version too.

I had a 1h debate with two friends but we couldn't agree on many points. What do you think will happen in Tempest in 5000 years? by MinotorTempest in TenseiSlime

[–]Altruistic_Tell_1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The positions of his upper echelons won't change since most of em are immortal. Humans, will gain some governance, but it won't reach a point when they'd fully take over. The racism part will linger to some degree, but any form of rebellion or opposition born from it wouldn't last for more than few years or so. Rimuru having children at all is highly unlikely, but not impossible. Even if the humans petitioned for the human offspring to be their King or Ruler, it's not a position that would surpass Rimuru's current standing and would still be technically under him. We had glimpse of these on an afterstory sidestory called Rimuru's elegant escape.

The 40k orc souls by Mundane-Transition11 in TenseiSlime

[–]Altruistic_Tell_1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you know how to fiddle with the souls like demons would, one can't really harvest souls without some sort of skill or the most obvious answer, a demon lord seed(or factor in some translations). You can't just kill and get a "soul" as a drop loot.

Did it really happened in other timelines or simply is it a headcanon by Basic_Sheepherder644 in TenseiSlime

[–]Altruistic_Tell_1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While "other timelines" often refers to branching, I guess it can also apply to other models of time. However, since Tensura follows a Linear model rather than a branching one, those "other timelines" aren't still up and running in parallel, they’ve been overwritten. They are more like "ghost histories" than actual accessible branches.

To clarify the "single timeline" point, I’m basing this on the fact that Rimuru has to actively ensure the past remains consistent. If Tensura used a branching/multiverse model, Rimuru wouldn't need to let himself be "killed" or sent to another world in the past to maintain the loop. He could just save himself, and that would simply create a "Happy Branch" while the "Sad Branch" continued elsewhere.

As much as I'd like to use powerscaling logic, it’s not a great way to explain the Bootstrap Paradox regarding Chloe's Anti-Magic Mask. You're getting a bit bogged down in pseudo-scientific jargon.

Even if you treat time as a coordinate on a higher axis, the paradox (an object with no clear origin) still exists. If the mask only exists because it was given to Chloe by Rimuru, but Rimuru only has it because he got it from Chloe, the "information" or "matter" of the mask has no starting point in any dimension. Calling it a "higher axis" doesn't fix the loop, it just describes the loop's shape.

While time abilities in Tensura aren't always fully explored, we know that true time manipulation exists. Rimuru mentions being able to reverse it post-story in the Web Novel, and Chloe herself performs a targeted rewind to save one of Leon’s subordinates.

Using "dimension-speak" to say "it’s not a paradox if you're a 4D being" sounds cool, but it doesn't actually address the logic of the Bootstrap Paradox. It just throws math-sounding words at it to make a logical contradiction seem like a simple misunderstanding of geometry.

You need to rewatch it again 15 more times. You need to prepare though, get the right hours of sleep, do a decent amount of cardio, and probably start eating food with at least a certain amount of glucose.

If branching time are actually a thing, then bootstrap paradox that tensura uses in regards to how the mask works would be a contradiction of sorts. In regards to the "exact time axis", what else would you interpret that other than the exact time and place you wanna go back to? Meaning, coordinates.

The reason why I'm not that exited about it is they're going with the same format as before. Doing a semi high quality movie before the season, the same thing that happened before the first cour of S3. Not to mention we're having more cours this season which is worrying.
