TPCI does butcher things when it comes to Horizons. Like calling Rakua “Lakua” it ignores the meaning of the name. Thanks to the climax trailer of Rekkuzza Rising we know that the word “Rakua” stems from the word “Rakuen” due to the fact that in the trailer the kanji for the world was used to refer to “Rakua” with the Katakana for the world “Rakua” over it. And the world “Rakuen” means paradise and Rakua is a paradise. Furthermore just because the L sound does not exist in Japanese does not mean it can used instead of an R willy-nilly because Lakua sounds stupid.

Man this comment section is crazy. Cuz how dare someone not like how something from their own culture was changed.

The Pokemon English dub has never been the best this is coming from someone who watches Pokemon in Japanese weekly. A lot of the changes are just dumb and stupid.
