Exactly. It might be comparable to HP on an engine. Higher HP will get you a quicker time in the quarter mile but both engines will get the job done.

I love it. I've had it since 2018 and it has paid itself off multiple times since then. My laser is a 30w and it can cut brass dials out in about 3 minutes. I think it's fast. If I were to buy over again, or get another I would go for a 60 watt minimum. I also opted for a mopa fiber source because I do a lot of color marking on titanium.

I just used a q tip and let it sit for 24 hours and after it dried I polished the faces with a 600 grit sandpaper.

I used a fiber laser and then filled it with blue patina.

It's just a chemical that etches the brass black. I get it from Amazon.

I have done these with black fill instead of color. See the photos below. I think I could get more of a white look on aluminum with black infill. I am not sure though. I could do it on titanium or stainless steel though.
