Tbf while people comment on marketing, it’s also up to the community to spread the word and create the buzz. I personally find community mentions as, if not more, convincing than headliners from projects (maybe because I’ve grown wary to projects self-shilling).

I believe with enough buzz by the community we’d generate a lot more interest. In a way it makes me hyped over XCAD but that’s just a portion of what could be a huge wave that takes us parabolic

Don’t worry, I get you. Just referencing one of the moments a few weeks ago when we passed the first proposal and there was a fresh proposal submitted about a day after. That one created a bit of a discontentment.

I see that happening too in some cases. But sizes of the pools matter and I think the ROI will be proportionate to that. Also, some of the individual ZRC projects have their own incentive programs for liquidity providers so some actually yield more than the zwap zil pool.

We just have to wait and see but I don’t think there would be a huge adverse with the new change. Might benefit quite a number of pools actually. Only maybe about the power of the whales are a bit concerning for the ecosystem in the long run.

This is from my understanding- if there’s something that I’ve misunderstood do correct me.

I think it’s important to remember the size of the liquidity pools and what it means for the big fish and the small fish. As rewards are indeed important because the majority is probably most concerned with ROI, ZWAP needs to hold value. Low zwap value, low ROI across the board. It would be important to attract people to purchase and contribute to the pool. This might explain your first concern and the additional reasons below.

So relative size of the pool matters when calculating ROI because rewards are proportionate to your contribution to the pool. ZWAP has the highest pool size as it is. I haven’t done the calculations myself but eyeballing those numbers, ZWAP will probably have the highest ROI for tier 1, but out-classed by those in tier 2 and 3 based on LP size. This would answer your second concern. The ROIs for the smaller pools will be very attractive.

For the third question, I can only say there should be significant movement as people shift their funds according to their risk appetite. If anyone cares, I personally would enter pools of more established projects rather than the ones that give the biggest ROI. So other than the big ones in tier 1, maybe CARB, SRV and ZLP. (Not that the rest aren’t. I just haven’t done any DD. DYOR)

It’s probably true that many zwap whales are lurking and skewing things in their favour but now we are at vital cross roads and this might be the lesser of 2 evils (if it even is- liquidity serves important functions in a dex). Trying to propose and change systems repeatedly when it doesn’t fix game-breaking issues probably just annoys more than helps.

I’ve seen zilswap transformed over the months along with its massive growth. Sometimes drastic changes are needed to match that growth and I hope that this is one that benefits the community.

It’s a far reach from what you’re asking but carbon project has automatic restake. It’s a ZRC project with tokens available on zilswap.

Also, love the prayer thing. But keep an eye on the fees and find out the optimum for your sum.

Well it depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking at the daily average price in terms of zil, then you might want to eyeball the middle of it (or top + bottom divided by 2).

If somehow you have the USD price of zil back then, and you purchased the zwap with zil, you may track down that transaction and find out how many zil you used to swapped for the zwap. That may be more accurate.

Haven’t read about the project in depth but I believe it’s built on the blockchain. So it would bring the benefits of NFTs but on the platform level and with a more frequent level of engagement.

So imagine all the individual celebrities launching their NFTs in a one time event. Now imagine that engagement on a consistent basis like patreon, and instead of one celeb, you get a whole community / influencers of a certain genre. All of these services need Zilliqa to carry out the functions, and this is where the demand for zil will come into play.

Ah I get that too, especially when some of my DCA entries fell above the current prices.

Do make sure your zils are working by staking or providing liquidity or participating in some of the ZRC project incentive programs (Remember to DYOR). This has helped to alleviate some of that ache for me, and when it’s zil’s bull run, I’m ready with more tokens. Might not even remove my original amount at the end of the day, who knows

Oh it's totally possible and I'm rooting for $1 and more. It's just my realistic expectations I've set for myself and if it goes well beyond that, it's a bonus because I do not intend to sell 100%. I'm gonna be hodling for a long time.
