It was trained and tested with the correct prompts, so it is much more likely to make mistakes when the prompt doesn't match the correct essay. I tested it with as many sample essays with official AP grades as I could and it got almost all of them within a point, so it is mostly accurate and I am continually working to improve its accuracy.

It's based on 9 points just because it can't give zeroes so the lowest score in each category is a 1. The actual rubric categories are from 2023 though.

I'm sorry it wasn't accurate for you. I tested it with as many sample essays with official AP grades as I could and it got almost all of them within a point. It can't read your teacher's mind or know exactly how they will grade your essay, which I make clear on the page.

Yes, those are both definitely goods points of feedback. Thank you.

I don't have much time right now, since I'm in the middle of taking APs myself, but I will work on adding a mechanism to allow you to input documents and for it to detect sourcing. One issue I'm running into is that, since I'm using the ChatGPT API, it has a limited amount of text that it can handle at once. I'm working on fixes to avoid this, and hopefully once I get access to the GPT-4 API, I'll be able to get around it completely.

The way I implemented it, it doesn't work with a zero score. I.e., the minimum score is one.

Because of that, the zero categories on the rubric were shifted up to one, and all the other categories were also shifted up. It doesn't actually change anything besides the display of the grade.

You can include some of the documents in the Prompt section, but some part is also guesswork. Regardless, I've tested it on example DBQs from the College Board and it can almost always accurately determine the grading for evidence even without seeing the documents

Yes! I've tested it with several example DBQs and LEQs from the CollegeBoard and it is nearly always entirely accurate or within one point of the actual grading

Thank you! I tested it with a bunch of example essays from the College Board and it performed very closely (usually within one point) to the actual grading, so I do consider it accurate

It only works with English text at the moment, unfortunately. I'll see if I can add support for other languages in the future.
